A Mechanical Supervisor is needed for revamping and maintenance work on an Andritz-Selas CGL Re-Heat Furnace during a shut-down at Liège, Belgium from appoximately 15 July – 15 August 2017.  You will be representing our client the manufacturer – and you will need to show previous experience of working on CGL furnaces.

The planned schedule is as follows :
• To attend the Andritz-Selas HQ offices in Paris for two days to learn about the job and to receive documents and to assist in preparation
• Then travel to site at Liège for one week prior to the stoppage to prepare for the works on around Monday 17 July
• Actual shut down will start on 24 July.  There will be two weeks stoppage for several repair and improvement works and to perform any specialized maintenance jobs.
• Then to stay at site for assistance during the restart and to complete any punch list items from the planned works - for another one or two weeks

Candidates will need to possess a “VCA” site safety certification (or be prepared to attend a 2 day course in Belgium to arrange this before joining site).  An online (Freelancer/Contractor) “LIMOSA” application will also be necessary.  A good standard of spoken and technical English is a must – some French is also an advantage.
